Michael Gummelt, a former Raven Software developer claims on his LinkedIn that in 2011, Raven was working on a COD Zombies live services game until Treyarch cancelled it. He was the Lead Director on the project, and oversaw it whilst it was in development for 8 months between November 2011 and June 2012. This was the Standalone Call of Duty Zombies game that we have always wanted, but as a live service game, which is extremely ambitious to have been attempted back during the Xbox 360 and PS3 eras. Not much was known about this game until yesterday thanks to ‪@GlitchingQueen‬ who was fortunate enough to have an interview with Michael Gummelt and share the details with the internet!
