Описание: This photographic documentary compiles a collection of images captured between 2013 and 2019, during the pre-COVID era. It reflects personal journeys, experiences, sights, landscapes, dwellings, and moments in time, all documented by Czerny (Ana Cordeiro Reis) while living in various neighborhoods of Birmingham: Aston, Hall Green, and Handsworth. Through her unique perspective, the work captures glimpses of everyday life and her distinctive vision, gathered amid a profoundly challenging, harsh, and troubled daily existence marked by severe hardships. Notably, this documentary does not depict the "no-go" zones of Handsworth-Villa Cross or the degradation in England, brought by a reactionary non-European sect, where Ana resided for eight years—a subject reserved for a future project.
This documentary is NOT subsidized, nor supported, nor promoted, nor disseminated, neither by the Ministry of Culture, nor by the State Secretariat of Culture, nor by any 'Cultural and Arts Foundation', nor by the Portuguese Cinematheque.
This documentary will not be at DocLisboa, because Ana Cordeiro Reis has been systematically discriminated against, not included, invisibilized, silenced, and canceled, victimized with hate crimes and discrimination. Unless the author is invited to it, because she will not lower herself to ask them to be included—why remind the incompetents of the work they do not do, the rights they do not honor, and the duty they do not fulfill?
