Had a J 7572 error on the Konica Minolta 1200 Pro SD 506 saddle stitcher. Found the bundle press screws to be loose and tightened them up. I later cleaned it and used JB weld to hold the screws. I finished a newsletter job by perfect binding on the CP Bourg 3002 perfect binder and running all the books through the mail bagger.
I was told that the new Konica 1060/1070, 2060/2070, 3060/3070 machines are utilizing technology that automatically renews developer through the toner/developer mix. I wanted to see if this was true so I used a magnet to separate the developer from the toner. Its true, there is developer in the toner! This means the developer in the presses will last much longer. Interesting!
