My 1st unboxing video.
Purchased the Yottamaster Y-Defender Series DF5U3 (USB-3.0 5-Bay) Enclosure. It features a beautiful machined aluminum chassis with tinted acrylic glass on both sides and an RGB fan in the rear.
There are 2 downloads available at their site, which include a firmware update with instructions using an application that I have not been able to find (easily) and an update to add a sleep timer feature, which was run with Pass (Green) message, but hasn't seemed to work for me yet.
This is my 1st Yottamaster enclosure, and so far, after a week of ownership, I'm pretty happy with the way it looks and has performed, which has not included duress testing.
If you're looking to add a stylish enclosure to your collection, I would recommend this enclosure. NOTE: The enclosure and stock RGB fan are quiet. Its sits on my desktop 18 inches away from my keyboard. The drives can be noisy. The Seagate 4TB in the video are quiet. Other older WD blues, and greens are louder while they spin.
