KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK OPENS IN THE MONTH OF OCTOBER EVERY YEAR AND CLOSES BY MAY NEXT YEAR. So, please plan your trip accordingly.

This is a complete guide for those who want to visit Kaziranga National Park for the first time and want to stay for 3 to 4 days and enjoy the scenic beauty of the National Park.
You can also take bus from Guwahati to Kohora,depending on how and at what time you reach Guwahati Town from the Airport. If you have used trains to reach Guwahati....than it will be easy. Bus tickets from Guwahati to Kohora will cost you only Rs.410/- per person. Regular Buses are there from Kahnapara - the exit point of Guwahati.
From Jorhat, taking a bus to Kaziranga will be a matter of concern as timings will not match. Even if you took buses from Jorhat....it will cost you only 200/- rupees. Still I would say....cars from Jorhat will be far cosy than the buses.

Only aspect is that you have to enter the ORCHID Park twice, to manage with the time. You have to pay the entry fee twice for the same, once for Lunch and to watch the park orchids and next in the evening for the traditional dances.

Top Luxurious Hotel Details : Diphlu River Lodge And Niltava are different than others.
They use to charge per person per night - their service is inclusive of all, means a person
should not have to pay anything for one day.
With all, Diphlu River Lodge provides two jeep Safaries whereas NILTAVA goes for one.

There are lot more hotels, offbeat resorts and camps and many of such home stays, other than those being listed or shown in the video. Its all as per my choice of hotels and that too those which are within 15 km range from KOHORA. Government / Tourism properties are quite limited.

Parking of vehicles are available at all the 4 ranges and I have tried to cover almost all aspects of the National Park, except the Boating and Trekking part. Because its very situation oriented.
