Parliament of Canada Tour - Part 2 -

Описание: Do you believe in Canadian democracy? Do you at least like pretty, historic buildings? The Parliament of Canada includes both the House of Commons and the Senate, and the buildings in which they operate are simply beautiful! Come with me on a short tour of these important Canadian institutions, from the perspective of someone who used to work on Parliament Hill (Library of Parliament, or LOP, for the cool kids).

I don't always make travel blog content, but I thought it might be fun to try it out for my hometown. I have a soft spot for the Parliament of Canada, and I love the fact that these tours are 100% free! The link to book your spot is https://rts.parl.ca/. There are many paid tours available for Ottawa newcomers, but to actually go inside the buildings and listen to a professional tour guide, there's actually no cost... and they're offered in French and English.

On the tour, you're allowed to take picture, but not record audio or video. I have videos of the tour here, so we can say that I spliced some pictures together. I must be really good or something. But in all seriousness, no faces are shown, and I don't have any audio from the tour.
