Описание: Some coal mining companies are contemplating retrenchments due to low
exports and declining export prices. Transnet's inability to provide trains to move coal by rail might hit fiscus hard, resulting in job losses. NUM says the dire situation at Transnet can't be ignored. The union also says job cuts are inevitable. Transnet Freight Rail’s Bonginkosi Mabaso explains.
