Vortex Energy Division
The ‘vortex’ process is based on energy redistribution in a pressurized gas stream introduced tangentially into a specially designed cylindrical device (the Vortex Tube). The released (depressurized) highly rotating gas undergoes energy and mass division (Vortex Phenomenon), forming an inner, chilled ‘cold’ and an outer warmed ‘hot’ flow. In a conventional VT, both flows exit the unit separately through cold and hot outlets.
