Wakatobi - Tribes, Diving & Island Hopping (Sulawesi, Indonesia)

Описание: In today's episode of the Sabang to Merauke journey, we visit tribes, go diving and explore the islands of Wakatobi! This time, I set out to explore the various islands of Wakatobi, one of the most famous dive spots in Indonesia, located in South East Sulawesi.
But there is a special twist—I’ve flown my brother Magnus all the way from Denmark to join me.

After a very long 48-hour journey fron Denmark, we check into Patuno Resort on Wangi Wangi island. Magnus takes his open water dive certification on the stunning Wangi-wangi Island with Pak Udin from Rekan Dive. We try the local cuisine, get stuck, hang out with locals and much more!

Our second island is Kaledupa. There I bring Magnus to Sampela Village. The Bajo tribe village. Where Magnus sees the bridge I've been working on in my previous video and introducing him to my Sampela family. We try spear fishing, catch our dinner and enjoy the life on the ocean with the Bajo.

We continue to our third island, Tomia. It's the most famous place to dive in Wakatobi and it's truly like diving in an aquarium. We check into Marcels, Marind Eco Dive Resort, a wonderful place!
On this island we explore from the road as well by scooter, Magnus gets the cheapest haircut of his life and we get to see both Stingrays, Barracudas, Sea snakes and much more under the surface.

This video is filled with funny and adventures moments, that I hope will inspire you as well to travel to Wakatobi.
