It’s finally here… National Showdance Day 💃🔥
We started the morning calm (breakfast in bed 🥐), then headed to the official rehearsal where the competition reviewed our routine — checking tricks, timing, and making sure everything fit regulations. We also pulled our number and chose to dance second.
After practicing our standard dances, hitting the gym, and taking a quiet walk on the boardwalk to clear our minds, it was time to get into glam. I did my own hair, got my makeup done, and stepped onto the floor ready.
And… we placed FIRST 🥇
All the prep, all the edits, all the grind — worth it.
