Just trying out a new design of reed in my pibgorn - fibracell tongue on a brass tube body with the tongue seat shaped to give the tongue clearance (like with a clarinet mouthpiece) rather than a hair under the tongue to bend it up.
The pibgorn has an oak body turned from a piece of the cross beam from one of the A frames holding up our roof, which makes it seasoned for about 150 years! Fitted with ox horns from India I believe...
Tune is `Y Pibydd Du' which I had off Peni Ediker who in turn had it off Gafin Morgan I think...
