Описание: The video depicts two simulations of laser propagation and energy deposition in an inertial confinement fusion implosion. The first simulation uses monochromatic laser beams and the second uses lasers with 1% bandwidth. The incoherence introduced by the laser bandwidth causes the laser speckles to move in time and significantly increases the laser absorption relative to the monochromatic case.
