This is a clip from our wedding reception in 1982 at the St. James, Los Angeles hall. My father, Varougan Movsesian and his good friends Jora Makarian and Roupen Davitian gave an exhibition of Armenian dancing. The three of them also played Armenian music as the Armen band for many years - on the accordion is the fourth member of the band, Garo Rptchian.
We grew up with some great music, memories and culture. I'm happy that this small clip has been preserved thanks to my wife's uncle Harry Boranian who video taped the wedding. (In one of the scenes, you can see the equipment used back then was quite cumbersome.)
