Luke humiliated a girl who struggled to come up with the money for her dad’s medicine. He laughed at her panic, saying she didn’t deserve anything good in life because she was poor. He left the pharmacy with a smile. But that same girl caught up to him. She wanted to return the wallet he’d forgotten. Luke didn’t even thank her. When he was walking away, she whispered she’d like him to understand the everyday struggles of someone like her.

And the next morning, Luke woke up without a cent to his name and dressed as a beggar.
