Monica Seles is a former professional tennis player widely regarded as one of the greatest to play the game. Born on December 2, 1973, in Novi Sad, Yugoslavia (now Serbia), she began her career as a tennis prodigy. Known for her unique two-handed forehand and backhand strokes, Seles dominated the women’s tennis scene in the early 1990s.
