Animals WALKING BACKWARDS in the forest at night, might be one of the strangest things you're seeing today. When the moon is full in Geuzenbos, strange things are happening... And now we finally have footage of these peculiar events 😉
🌳 Reversed video
While working on a video with exclusively night vision footage, I realized it gets quite boring without colors. Accidentally playing it backwards while editing, made it more entertaining. I decided to reverse the whole video, including the music.
I hope you like it as much as I do! Please subscribe if you want me to share more trail cam footage.

🌿 How did I make this video?
This whole compilation is made with trail cam footage captured in Geuzenbos, which is a little forest in Belgium. I used different cameras for this compilation: a Browning Recon force Edge and a Bushnell dual core low glow. If you'd like to know which videos in this compilation are made with which camera, just ask me ;)
I edited the video with Davinci Resolve
Music track used: Mists of Moondale by Derek Fiechter & Brandon Fiechter (Reversed)

🌲 What is a trail cam?
A trail cam is a camera with a motion sensor, which means it starts filming when something moves in front of it. It makes you able to capture wildlife on camera without your presence being required. These cameras are also equipped with IR leds, what makes them able to film at night as well (as you can see in this video). Using trail cameras is a great way to discover the biodiversity of wildlife in the surveyed area and learn about natural animal behavior.
You strap it on a tree and go home. After a few days or weeks (or even months) you come back to 'pickup' the videos the trail cam has captures for you. I find these pickups really exciting! Sometimes I hardly can sleep the night before, haha! The excitement gives me weird dreams about all the things I might have filmed that week. I might be a little obsessed...
