Colin: Hey, guys. It's Colin here at etrailer. Today I'm going to show you guys this products from Camco. This is their RV sewer hose rinse cap. Now right here, this is going to be a really good tool for getting your sewer hoses cleaned after you empty out your gray and black water tanks. It's really not something you want to do is get those emptied, and then just store your sewer hoses without having them properly cleaned first.The cap is going to connect to any standard garden hose, like we have right here.

With our on and off valve, we can get our hoses cleaned, and it's going to fit any standard three inch sewer hose with a bayonet style fittings. So it's got a really tight fit on it. You can see just like that. It uses those seals that are on the inside of your hoses to make sure you can get this properly cleaned without any leakage back here.Now, it is really important to get your sewer hoses clean. It's a step that only takes a few minutes.

I know there was a time where I went camping with my family, and when we had to get our tanks emptied out, and we opened up the storage container for our sewer hoses and it wasn't very pleasant, because there was something that was caught in our sewer hoses. So if we would've just taken the time to use one of this cap, get it cleaned out, we would've avoided that situation.So what's really nice about this cap is that it's a four-way split right here, which creates four pressurized streams to really make sure it gets out any of that debris left inside your sewer hose from emptying out your tanks. So you'll see when I turn it to the side and I turn on the valve, you can see those four different streams really making sure to get a lot of pressure inside your hose.And it'll also double as a leak proof cap you can put on your hose, so that when it's in storage and the valve is shut off, you won't have any leaks.Now on this side where the garden hose goes, you can see the white valve right there, how it's open right now, letting the water flow through. You just turn it 90 degrees, it's going to shut it off and back will open it up. It's really simple to use.

It's got a really nice durable plastic construction to it. It's going to hold up to a lot of years of service, as long as you take care of it.Now, when you're ready to use it, we'll just grab our standard garden hose right here. We'll just thread it on. And then like we talked about, just get it hooked up to any standard three inch sewer hose with a bayonet ends. Now with your hose on, you're ready at a turn on your valve.

I do want to point out that if your hose was expanded when you used it, it's a good idea to go ahead and keep it expanded just in case anything we're to get caught in between the ribs right here when you close it, so just make sure you expand it all the way out. Now we'll turn on the valve.So now you can see all that water coming out, cleaning out our hose. Again, expand it everywhere. Make sure you really get it cleaned out.Now, once your hose is all clean, just go ahead and shut the valve off. Hold it from up here, if you're not using any type of support system, so you need to affect gravity your own way. I'm just going to go ahead and grab it and walk with it all the way.
