Belgium Paragliding Open 2022 - task 1
After 2 skipped meals and a short sleep i took all my energy that i had left to fly the massive first task of 118km they have set on the first day of the BPO.
I got behind very early and struggled my way towards goal all by myself, as usual.
The wind from the northwest was increasing wich made it very difficult to reach a turnpoint 8km upwind, but finally managed to reach it after all.
I landed at 19h when the task ended and got a private ride back towards piedrahita (last man in the air)
I was kinda dissapointed but my percerverance got noticed, apparently batteling for 3hrs against strong headwind is called an 'ivoke doen' 😅
I finished 64/143 but they took away my points due to airspace penalty's.
