After rescuing Flaruff from the villain gang, Ash, Pikachu, and Rio continue their journey deeper into the Celestia forests. Professor Solana contacts Ash and sends him to Amberleaf Valley, where reports of villain activity have increased.
There, Ash and Rio encounter the same villain gang trying to capture wild Pokémon—but this time, Flaruff gives everything he has, proving his strength and heart in battle.
At that very moment, Leon appears, witnessing Flaruff’s incredible power. Impressed by Ash’s bond with Flaruff, Leon joins the fight, and together they defeat the villains.
But after the dust settles, Leon challenges Ash to a friendly 1-on-1 battle to test their Pokémon’s strength. Leon’s new Celestia Pokémon faces off against Flaruff in a fiery showdown—and when Charizard enters the field, the battle reaches an explosive climax as Pikachu and Charizard’s clash ends in a powerful tie!
The episode ends with Leon smiling, saying:
“Ash… Celestia Region has only just begun to test you.”
Ash and Rio then continue their journey, ready for whatever challenges await.
