On November 23rd and 24th, IH London held its first Future of Training conference, which was focused around teacher training and ELT.
It was a brilliant conference that resulted in some genuine feedback regarding teacher training in the 21st century and the relevance and importance of the initial teacher training course, the CELTA.
Participants and speakers came together to discuss topics such as if there is an appropriate model for English language teaching and learning, whether we should do away with input altogether and how can we, as teachers, improve online teaching and learning practices.
