RPSI No. 4 & IE locos 071 & 076 on ''The Radio Train'' - 21 August 2016

On Sunday the 21st of August 2016 the Railway Preservation Society of Ireland ran their 'WT' class steam loco No. 4 from Connolly - Kilkenny and back. The tour starts of in Connolly as usual and we soon make our way past Glasnevin Junction and onto the link up line to Heuston. we reach Sallins where we make a very sudden stop, after about 15 mins we eventually make our way into the platform where No.4 was declared a failure due to a hot box.
After No. 4 was sent to the siding IE 071 class number 071 in the retro livery come to rescue the train to take it the rest of the way to Kilkenny. Having arrived in Kilkenny 071 soon departs for Waterford and IE 071 class loco number 076 comes to take the train back to Connolly.
