Join our full-time family RV adventure towing the Rockwood Mini Lite with our Tesla Cybertruck along the beautiful Alabama coast! 🌊⚡🚐 We hit two spots: Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores (huge state park with full hookups, 2+ miles of sugar-white beaches, 28 miles of trails, nature center with live animals like sea turtles & baby alligators, resort pool, and more) and a budget stop at Mobile Oaks RV Resort in Theodore, AL (pond views with geese, but some drawbacks like site debris and train noise).
From Pensacola through Mobile, we battled rain and cold, visited Tacky Jacks, Cobalt restaurant (highly recommend!), the stunning Lodge at Gulf State Park, arcade fun, and a chilly beach walk. Gulf State Park (~$65/night) is amazing but pricey—would return in better weather! Mobile Oaks (~$39/night) was cheap and convenient but not a favorite private park.
