Ellie was introduced to The Music Works during her stay in hospital, where she first met Misha, one of our music leaders, in the school room. Prior to this connection, while Ellie had always loved music, she had never explored songwriting or music creation. Struggling with her mental health and finding it extremely difficult to express herself, Ellie would barely speak and often concealed herself in hoodies, demonstrating significant challenges with confidence and social interaction.
