What stood out to me:

The witness was highly credible and explained complicated financial records in a way jurors could understand
The state is trying to show that Kouri was deeply underwater financially
-Prosecutors argue she had a lot to gain from Eric’s death and very little to gain through divorce because of the prenup

And in my opinion, motive evidence like this can be incredibly powerful — sometimes even more powerful than forensic evidence in the jury room...

And as always, these are allegations. Every defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
