Spent an incredible time exploring this historic station — from fast suburban EMUs to long-distance Alfa Pendular and Intercidades trains, there was so much to see. The station was a little quiet when I visited, which made it even easier to spot and capture all kinds of rolling stock. Its unique architecture and lively history made the visit really special. 🌟
Lisbon Santa Apolónia Station opened in 1865 and is the oldest railway terminus in the city. Located on the northeast bank of the Tagus River, it serves as a key gateway for both suburban and long-distance rail services, connecting Lisbon to destinations across Portugal.
