A new wet processing plant for construction and demolition waste, recently commissioned at Pelichet's Chauvilly site in eastern France, will support the company's goal of diverting up to 200,000 tonnes of inert construction and demolition waste per year from landfill.
This will enable Pélichet to expand its current activities through additional revenue from the production of higher value products.
Led by CEO Jérôme Pélichet, the recently commissioned plant is the culmination of a project that matured from a joint design process with CDE.
Commenting on the new facility, Jérôme Pelichet explains, "We wanted more than just a supplier, we wanted to find a partner that would go on this journey with us; a company that would oversee the process from design to on-site commissioning and work with us to fully understand our operations and business objectives."
