Instructions to rout a Squire Stratocaster to accomodate (2) push-pull tone pots.
I used a had router, not the Dremel. Had a 3/8" bit with 14" of the shaft exposed to get depth. 33mm deep - in little bits. Take your time & get it right!
A client of mine asked for a loaded pickguard of my hand wound AMI pickups in a H-S-H configuration for Drop C tuning. I loaded a Bridge humbucker called the "F-Bomb", a single coil called "The King of Fa and a neck humbucker called "DJazz".
With a 5-way switch, this pickguard can do:
H-S-H, S-S-S, H-H or S-S. One tone for the neck and one for the bridge.
