Chief Yakup Zoklu thanks Mayor Thomas Calabrese for the opportunity to host community events like “Coffee with A Cop”.

“It’s an excellent opportunity for the community to meet their officers and to show our love and appreciation and they can reciprocate it back”, shared Officer Mario D’Urso from the Cliffside Park Police Community Affairs.

Mrs. Jackie Roussos, Principal of Cliffside Park School Number 4 stated, “I think this is a wonderful event for us to partner with the Cliffside Park Police Department and Mayor Calabrese; the kids get to meet the people who support them in town and we’re very blessed to be partnered with them”.

“I think it’s a great idea for all of us to come together and support the Cliffside Park Police”, shared Jena Diaz, from the Cliffside Park High School Girls Varsity Basketball team.

“We’re representing the football team and it’s nice to show out for the community and also the cheer team as well is coming out to support; we’d love to support the Police community”, stated Sebastian Hernandez, from the Cliffside Park High School Varsity Football team.

Luis Martinez, from the Cliffside Park High School Varsity Basketball Team shared, “It’s good to gather around the Cliffside Park community and just be a family around each other just like our basketball team”.

“It’s amazing to see our Police Officers and Chief Zoklu intermingle with the community, with the students, with the parents and really just having an open door policy but also having it at a wonderful bakery is a great plus for them”, stated, Mr. Mark Rindfuss, Superintendent of the Cliffside Park School District.

Special thank you Osman Tufan, owner of @vanillabakerycafenj for his unwavering support and @gpuma_landscapes for also donating over 500 pumpkins to the Police Department’s “Coffee with A Cop” event.

Lt. Mert Zoklu, from the Cliffside Park Police Community Affairs is grateful for @bcponj Chief Finck and Prosecutor Musella as well as Lt. Carlos James from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Community Engagement for their time and continued support too.
