Описание: In 2005 the Liverpool & Manchester railway 175th Anniversary was celebrated at the Manchester Museum of Science & Industry (MOSI) by a cavalcade of the 3 replica locomotives of the Rainhil Locomotive Trials of October 1829. These video clips show Novelty, Sans Pareil & Rocket operating on the demonstration tracks at the museum. In addition the museum`s own replica of Planet (1830) was demonstrated. The Lion locomotive of 1838, the only original locomotive of the L & MR was on static display, on loan from its permanent display at Liverpool Museum.
