In this holiday treat of a video, I slip into my sparkly black ballet flats and sink into dozens of mini cupcakes — red, green, gold, frosted, sprinkled, and irresistibly cheerful. The sounds… the softness… the way the frosting gives way under the mesh of my shoes… it’s pure holiday indulgence.
And just wait until I take the shoes off. Barefoot crushing will always be my favorite — the warmth, the textures, the sensations melting between my toes. By the end, there’s a swirl of cupcake “snow,” a delicious, gooey holiday mash that feels almost like a Christmas cakepop under my soles.
