Han Meilin is one of China's most renowned contemporary artists, whose prolific creations span a wide range of mediums, including painting, calligraphy, sculpture, ceramics, textile art, paper-cutting, and logo design. He is best known for his sculptures and artistic designs, such as Air China's logo, the Beijing Olympic Fuwa mascots, and various urban sculptures.
There are three Han Meilin Art Museums across China, located in Beijing, Hangzhou (Zhejiang), and Yinchuan (Ningxia), with the Beijing museum being the largest (12,000 square meters). The Beijing museum, founded on the basis of over 2,000 artworks donated by Han Meilin to the Tongzhou District government, comprehensively and systematically showcases his artistic achievements, talent, and creativity.
