Howard Miller Grandfather Clock - Westminster

Описание: This clock belongs to my grandparents. I have wanted to make this video for a long time and since I was visiting I was able to. I wasn't able to capture it striking noon, unfortunately.
This is a Howard Miller Grandfather Clock from the 1970s. It was given to my grandmother as a present. The quarter hour chimes are tuned in the key of B, and the hour chimes play a G Major chord (according to my ear).
I have always been fascinated with bell towers and clock towers (which might be why I want to hear Big Ben chime the New Year in person).
Because I love chiming clocks, my name is on the clock for when my grandparents pass in the far future.
If you're wondering why there are only three chimes in the first quarter chime, it's because at the end of the round, the clock chimes the first note of the next round. I asked my grandfather why it does that and he said, "You got me!" I hope to look into that in the future.
This clock has a triple chime feature including Westminster, Winchester, and Whittington. It is normally kept on Westminster.
