This is aerial footage of the East (South) end of BNSFs Belen Train Yard. This is a crew-change and refueling point on the BNSF Southern Transcontinental route. About one hundred trains go through Belen daily. Some maintenance is performed here also. The used to be a roundhouse, but the turntable is all that is left. It has just one track going through it and is probably not operational.
This footage has not been edited, except to trim the ends. There are a couple of auto racks drifting alone at one point. At the end there are trains coming and going at the North (West) end of the yard.
