📖 STORY SYNOPSIS
In Veil Calendar — EP04: Myth of the Long Night, darkness doesn’t fall—it stays. Hours pass without dawn, as if night is a place with weight. Seren walks by milky lantern light with the Veil Calendar close, while fixed stars watch her breath learn patience.

Cold reaches past skin and grips hope; thoughts slow, heavy as stone. A distant theme repeats in the fog—older than language—and Aen reacts as if he remembers it. Shadow masks appear in a ring, wearing Seren’s face in different variants, but the lantern’s milky light tears them like paper into frost.

The northwind does not speak—it demands. Give the ember, and sleep. Seren answers with restraint: not burning brighter, but carrying cleaner. Inside a cathedral of stardust, the myth becomes architecture, and the Veil Calendar opens heavy to reveal the Fourth Seal: Endurance. Not victory—staying.

Aen offers a hard memory: a child laughing in snow. Silence tests Seren with an empty world, then ice windows show the future as a ledger of costs. In a dream, a veil-crown tries to turn her into an artifact. The ancient choir sharpens into a blade, and Seren finds beneath it one simple tone—her own.

By the end, the long night doesn’t become morning; it thins from within. The myth leaves a scar-line like a stitch across Seren’s chest. The Calendar turns a page by itself: Echoes. Aen begins to fray, held together by shared warmth without flame. Seren exits the cathedral into the waiting dark—while an after-sound answers itself in the ice.
