The CaRtoonist daughter Yamuna Shanker who is a trustee of Children book trust began collecting dolls whenever they went abroad.
Soon they had a collection of 500 dolls which they exhibit at various places in 🇮🇳 India.

Frequent packing and unpacking resulted in damages until they decided in having a fixed solution to have them placed in a Museum.

The oldest in collection is 300 year old, An old lady in bed.

The collection representation from 85 countries highlights their respective traditions costumes, Customs, Dance forms, Tribes Culture etc.

Upkeep of costume is being a TASK as several materials are not available in the local area and they cant get the same cloth.

The museum has its own work shop, where the dolls gets repaird and they design new dolls as well 🧡 Nearly 12 peole work in the wirkshop.

The museum depicts culture, costumes, customs & haits of countries around the world so it continues to attract pre stound the world 🌍

School Vists happen regularly with 100s of students visiting regularly👍🏻

Stared with a collection of 1000 dolls and now have 6500 dolls rom around 85 counties majority being received as gifts 🎁
