Sorry if I ramble a little. Anyways cooking is more of a supplementary lifeskill for AFK moneymaking. Don't do it as your main, but dabble in it to improve your silver/day passively by hitting the imperial delivery resets and selling certain items to other players.
For reducing your cooking time the items you'll want are:
Silver Embroidered Cook's Clothes +3 or higher. (+2 are fairly cheap to start off with): -1s and then -1s for every enhancement level.
Canape Outfit: -2s
Advanced Cooking Utensil: -1s
Alchemy Stone: -1.1s (varies depending on the stone)
Teff Sandwich: -0.5s
