Hobbiton Movie Set Tour: The Shire In New Zealand (with 5 kids)

Описание: We set out to visit the Hobbiton movie set in New Zealand today. All 7Wayfinders piled in the car and drove to the Shire. Now if you are a Lord of the Rings fan, you will know all about Hobbiton and I’m sure it is on your bucket list. If you are not, it is the community of Bilbo Bagins, the Hobbit.

As in normal 7Wayfinder time, we just made the bus that takes you to the actual movie set. For the movie, they “earth houses” were built out of plastic and never meant to last, but after they realized if they built them to last, they could have thousands of people come and experience the Shire, and so that is what they did. There are over 40 hobbit houses in the Shire and so pretty and serene and great photo opportunities everywhere! Gandolf would be proud.
