At the heart of Spirit Halloween is the Spirit of Children program, which is devoted to bringing the fun and fantasy of Halloween to children everywhere. The goal is to bring the outside world in to the pediatric patients at hospitals and rehabilitation centers across the nation.
About Spirit of Children
2006- Spirit Halloween launched the Spirit of Children program to thank the surrounding communities who continue to support Spirit. The children in these hospitals experienced the fun and fantasy of Halloween through the events hosted by volunteer Spirit employees. Costumes, decorations, accessories and activities such as pumpkin painting, games, and crafts, provide the pediatric patients with a special Halloween Celebration. During its inaugural year, Spirit Halloween facilitated Halloween events in 11 children's hospitals and rehabilitation centers across the country.
