Got hungry after visiting Anna Ruby Falls.
Headed to Helen for lunch at The Troll's Tavern.
Exceptional Reuben sandwich by the Chattahoochee River.
Hit Hansel & Gretel's Candy Kitchen for supplies. lol
Plenty of daylight left.
Decided to head to The Blue Ridge Mountains.
The constant switchbacks got me a little woozy.
Took a break at Neel Gap.
The Appalachian Trails crosses at 31.7 miles from the southern terminus at Springer Mountain.
Neel Gap is at an elevation of 3018 feet.
The summit of Blood Mountain is 4,459 feet which is the highest point of the AT in GA.
Exceptional weather food and company!
I hit the trifecta! lol
I am blessed and thankful.
