Eoghan Rua manager Joe Passmore was rightly proud of his team after their heroic effort against reigning champions Milford after their 2014 AIB All Ireland Senior Club Championship Semi-final at Donaghmore-Ashbourne on February 2.
'It's tough to take, the girls are absolutely gutted', said Joe. 'But I'm delighted with the way they performed, they showed they can perform at this level. Write a Derry team off at your peril, it's a big boost for Derry and for Ulster. Hopefully Liatroim can take a bit of heart from this for next week'.
