West Bay Beach on the island of Roatan in Honduras is widely considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. In this video I take a quiet morning walk through the grounds of Infinity Bay Resort.
The walk begins along a palm-lined promenade beside the long swimming pool that stretches the length of the resort toward the sea. Along the way the sound of exotic tropical bird calls fills the air. Surprisingly, the source of this lively chatter is not a brightly colored jungle bird, but the very common and plain-looking grackle.
The walk ends at the pier on West Bay Beach where the clear shallow water reveals dozens of tropical fish swimming below.
