On the issue of meeting a rakʿah in prayer, A narration says ;
‎
‎سَرَيْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَضَجَرْنَا مِنَ اللَّيْلِ، فَقُلْنَا: لَوْ كُنَّا نَعْرِسُ؟ قَالَ: «أَخَافُ أَنْ نَنْسَى الصَّلَاةَ». فَقَالَ بِلَالٌ: أَنَا أُوقِظُكُمْ. فَنَامُوا وَلَمْ يَسْتَيْقِظُوا إِلَّا بَعْدَ حَرِّ الشَّمْسِ، فَاسْتَيْقَظَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَوَّلًا، فَقَالَ: «يَا بِلَالُ، اكْلِئْنَا».
‎فَقَامَ بِلَالٌ فَأَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ، فَصَلَّى بِهِمُ الصُّبْحَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: «مَنْ نَسِيَ صَلَاةً فَلْيُصَلِّهَا إِذَا ذَكَرَهَا».

‎Abu Hurayrah reported: “We walked with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and became tired at night. We said, ‘Shall we rest?’ He ﷺ said, ‘I fear that we may forget the prayer.’ Bilal said, ‘I will wake you.’ They lay down, and did not wake up until after the heat of the sun. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was the first to awaken and said, ‘O Bilal, lead us.’ Bilal stood and called the iqāmah. The Prophet ﷺ then led them in the Fajr prayer. Then he said: ‘Whoever forgets a prayer should offer it when he remembers it.’”
‎— Sahih Muslim, Kitāb al‑Masājid wa Mawāḍiʿ al‑Ṣalāh
‎
‎Allah says:
‎{اللَّهُ يَتَوَفَّى الْأَنْفُسَ حِينَ مَوْتِهَا وَالَّتِي لَمْ تَمُتْ فِي مَنَامِهَا فَيُمْسِكُ الْمَوْتَى وَيُرْسِلُ الْأُخْرَى إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ}
‎
‎(Surah Az-Zumar 39:42)
‎
‎“Allah takes the souls at the time of their death and those that do not die during their sleep. He retains those for which He has decreed death and sends back the others until a specified term. Indeed in that are signs for a people who reflect.”
‎
‎The Prophet ﷺ also said:
‎إِذَا جِئْتُمْ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ وَنَحْنُ سُجُودٌ فَاسْجُدُوا وَلَا تَعُدُّوهَا شَيْئًا وَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ الرَّكْعَةَ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ الصَّلَاةَ
‎
‎“When you come to prayer while we are in prostration, then prostrate and do not consider it as anything. Whoever catches the rakʿah has caught the prayer.”
‎— Sunan Abi Dawud & Jami‘ at-Tirmidhi
‎
‎And:
‎رُفِعَ الْقَلَمُ عَنْ ثَلَاثٍ: عَنِ النَّائِمِ حَتَّى يَسْتَيْقِظَ، وَعَنِ الصَّبِيِّ حَتَّى يَحْتَلِمَ، وَعَنِ الْمَجْنُونِ حَتَّى يَعْقِلَ
‎
‎“The pen has been lifted from three: from the sleeper until he awakens, from the child until he reaches maturity, and from the insane until he regains sanity.”
