Joe came in for his first lesson ever. There were a couple things that make The Golf Room & The Golf Room Everywhere lesson experience different to start things off.

1. We start with first things first. A great golf swing starts with a great foundation. We don't start building a house with the windows and the roof. Just like we don't start building a golf swing by trying to fix impact. Joe needed to start with first things first, much like many of our students.

2. We give you a proper golf swing by using training aids or feedback stations. That means inside of your station, you're swinging it on-plane. It's proper. From there, we ask you what that proper golf swing feels like. Most lessons, the instructor will try to tell you what it feels like through words which is why new students come to us and say "I've gotten lessons before and they didn't work." It's not the students fault.

With that being said, Joe aimed right with his body and swung over the top, like many amateurs do. So we needed to fix his alignment of course, but the problem with stopping at just alignment is he still swings over the top. Everything will just go 60 yards left now.

That's why we got into fixing his golf swing with feedback so he could MAKE A PROPER GOLF SWING which GAVE HIM A PROPER FEELING.

At the end of the day, we are all trying to raise the level of efficiency our golf swings will put out for us. Many of us are getting the most out of our swings, which is why golf instruction exists.
