Описание: There are artists who sculpt their sound as though chiselling marble in moonlight, and Under Victoria is one of them. In “Love and Death”, this Australian artist extends the spectral hand first raised in “The Ephemeral”, guiding it now through the obsidian corridors of passion and decay. This fourth album is not merely a continuation but a metamorphosis where the fleeting transience of life once reigned, now the ache of what remains after the final breath takes centre stage.

Here, black metal is not a rigid form but a vibrating vessel carrying within it the dark pulse of gothic sorrow and the shimmer of melancholic synthesisers. The guitars ring as mournful bells beneath distant cathedral vaults, while the percussion echoes with a measured patience but also deliberately synergising with the proactive bass, as though each beat marks the passing of another memory into the void. The cold grandeur of atmospheric black metal is fused with the velvet anguish of gothic rock, at times reminiscent of a blackened H.I.M. or the mournful elegance of Kekht Arakh.
