Special Tee Shot (1992 Prototype) Showcase

Описание: This is a showcase of Beginner and Amateur Courses, while trying to show some of the bonus rooms. This was recorded from real hardware using a sd2snes.

This is the prototype of both Special Tee Shot (released in 1996 on Satellaview), and also of Kirby's Dream Course (first released in 1994 on Super Famicom), which was made later based on the engine of this game after the breakout success of Kirby's Dream Land in 1992. This is a mini-golf game co-developed by Nintendo and HAL Laboratory, originally announced before 1992 with screenshots and even the box art was done for it.

This prototype is very much incomplete, where the Extra Courses were not ready at all, only the first 4 courses were fully functional. The controls were quite different from the final version, alongside a bonus mechanic that was removed in the final game (there are 2 bonus rooms per course). This prototype may be the version seen at Summer CES 1992.
No idea however if this game was completed before Kirby's Dream Course or if it was specifically finished for Satellaview.
