Latvian Homestead 'Golden Hour' June 2021 Tour

Описание: I got up super early one day last week and filmed this latvian homestead tour video as the sun was rising. The mornings here in the latcian countryside are absolutely beautiful.

The golden hour is also sometimes called the "magic hour," especially by cinematographers. During these times, the brightness of the sky matches the brightness of streetlights, signs, car headlights and lit windows. The “hour” actually lasts about twenty or thirty minutes.

The period of time shortly before the magic hour at sunrise, or after it at sunset, is called the “blue hour.” This is when the sun is at a significant depth below the horizon, when residual, indirect sunlight takes on a predominantly blue shade, and there are no sharp shadows because the sun either has not risen, or has set.

In 2018 we left the UK to come to Gita’s family homestead here in north Latvia, not far from the Estonian border and now we live somewhere nowhere in the middle of a forest in a house built by Gita’s grandfather. We’re videoing our journey and trying to give you some insights into how we’re living here.
