DR - 01 - My Dominican arrival: Fear, bus, beach & local life!

Описание: I look back to when I was leaving Mexico for the Dominican Republic on what was supposed to be a smooth overnight hop—only to find my flight delayed and arriving in Santo Domingo late at night.
I hadn’t reached the hotel owners and didn’t know if the door would even be open. But it worked out!

The next day I took a five-hour bus to Sosúa, then a taxi to Cabarete. My flat there? Perfect—with a kitchen, local charm, and a huge rooftop terrace.

I explored both the local and tourist sides of town, had a gorgeous beachside dinner, and ended the day with a cold beer under the stars on my rooftop.

A perfect beginning to my Cabarete adventure.
