A deep front neck is usually 9 to 11 inches or as per your measurement. Here’s the full cutting process:

1. Fabric Preparation
Take the blouse front piece and fold it double (lengthwise).
Keep the fold side towards the center front.
Ensure 1.5 inches extra on all sides for stitching & piping.

2. Take Body Measurements
You will need:
Bust
Front length
Shoulder
Armhole
Neck depth (deep) – e.g., 9", 10", 11"
Neck width – normally 3.5" to 4.5"

3. Mark Shoulder & Armhole
Shoulder:
Divide shoulder by 2 and mark.
Example: 14" shoulder → 7" mark.
Armhole:
From shoulder point, mark armhole depth (7–8" depending on bust size).
Draw a straight line horizontally.

4. Mark the Bust Line
From the top, mark bust point line at 5.5" to 6" (standard).
Mark bust/4 + 1" for easing.

5. Mark the Deep Neck Shape
Neck Width:
From the top fold line, mark 4" (or as preferred).
Neck Depth:
From top, mark your desired deep neck:
Mild deep → 9"
Standard deep → 10"
Very deep → 11–12"
Neck Shape:
You can choose:
U-neck
V-neck
Round deep neck
