Lignocellulosic biomass is a potential feedstock for sustainable materials and monomers. Pressure-sensitive adhesives from cellulose/hemicellulose and lignin. Direct 3D printing of cellulose (modified) and lignin (via a blend) has been accomplished, and opens up several avenues with regard to polymer or composite properties and applications.
