MGB Overdrive Fail!

Описание: When the MGB-GT’s reverse gear began to stop working randomly, there was literally no going back! The general consensus online was that these symptoms, together with some intermittent freewheeling, suggested a failing clutch in the overdrive unit and, whilst this was backed up by several professional workshops, none wanted to sort it out.

One garage we tried wouldn’t even swap a reconditioned unit into the car in case it didn’t work! Luckily, we found out about Hardy Engineering (Transmissions) Ltd in Leatherhead, and how they could help. But could they completely remove the engine, overhaul the overdrive and replace it all in just a week?
